Director of Education
For the past 19 years, Terry Sutton has been involved in the insurance industry as a licensed agent and adjuster, as an educator and restoration specialist with ServiceMaster, and now as Director of Education with Stephen’s Engineering Consulting. While at ServiceMaster, he oversaw one of the largest continuing education programs in Texas teaching thousands of insurance professionals yearly.
For a number of years, he served on the executive board of the Dallas Claims Association, was President of the Fort Worth Claims Association, served as President of the Mid-Cities Rotary Club in the DFW area, and was very involved in numerous civic and non-profit organizations. For four years, he served as chairman of the Tarrant Area Hoarding Task Force and is a frequent speaker on the topics of Customer Service as well as Ethics and Hoarding Disorder to civic, professional and faith-based groups. He has written a number of insurance related continuing education classes in the areas of ethics, customer service, water mitigation, smoke and odor restoration, trauma, hoarding resolution, and mold and bio-hazard remediation. He is a licensed adjuster, a licensed minister and has several professional certifications.
Terry is the President of Master Your Disaster, a non-profit that helps those affected by trauma and hoarding disorder. Mr. Sutton is also a former vocational minister and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Terry is also the Chairman of the Board of an organization that equips and trains native pastors in Africa.
